If your storefront or public entrance has an opening force over 5 lbf for interior doors or 8.5 lbf for exterior (per 2010 ADA Standards), you likely need a low-energy automatic operator. If the frame is rusted through at the anchor locations, replacement is the only option — welding only lasts a year in our climate.
